Function

At XQTING, we work on a project basis. As a Software Engineer / Project Manager at XQTING, you will be responsible for both technical development and the successful management of projects. You play a key role in translating customer requirements into concrete solutions and monitor the entire process, from planning to delivery.


Tasks and responsibilities

• Develop, implement and test high-quality software solutions.
• Leading technical teams in the execution of software projects.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and quality.
• Ensure clear communication between stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
• Identify risks and ensure timely escalation if required.
• Advise on technical architectures and project strategy.

Profile

• You have at least six years of experience as a software developer and have successfully managed several projects.
• You have a strong knowledge of at least one of the backend programming languages (preferrable C#). Knowledge of frontend development (e.g. javascript, HTML, CSS...) and some frameworks (e.g. Angular, VueJS, bootstrap, ...) is a plus.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
• You have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• You have strong communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
• You have a proactive work attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• You understand how (client-server) software (architecture) works, both cloud and/or on-premise.

As a QA Engineer at XQTING, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, security, and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely with our development team to implement automated testing processes, identify potential security vulnerabilities, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards before deployment.


Tasks and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites to cover functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and address issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to verify edge cases and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Monitor and improve software quality processes within the development team.
• Conduct security assessments and ensure our applications adhere to security best practices.
• Identify potential risks, document bugs, and work with developers to implement solutions.
• Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team regarding software quality and performance.

Profile

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
• Experience with security testing tools and methodologies.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Nice to have:

• Experience with performance and load testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and container technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Experience working with APIs and microservices testing.
