Software Developer (.NET/Phyton)
Role description
As a Software Developer at XQTING, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality software solutions tailored to our clients’ needs. Your work will span a variety of projects, ranging from custom applications and integrations to digital platforms and automation solutions.
You will work with a diverse technology stack, with a strong focus on .NET and Python, to deliver scalable and future-proof solutions.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom software applications using .NET (C#) and/or Python
- Build integrations between different systems (ERP, CRM, third-party platforms, APIs, etc.)
- Translate functional and business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with consultants and clients
- Contribute to technical architecture and solution design
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
- Continuously improve development practices and introduce new technologies where relevant
- Optionally contribute to Odoo-related developments and integrations when part of a project
Profile
- Experience with .NET (C#) and/or Python development
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
- Experience with API development and system integration (REST, JSON, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies and domains
- Attention to quality and detail
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus, not a must)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or DevOps practices
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with frontend technologies (JavaScript frameworks)
- Understanding of business processes and workflows
Work location and travel
You will mainly work from our office in Sint-Denijs-Westrem, with flexibility for remote work. You collaborate closely with colleagues and clients across different projects, both on-site and remotely.
